Baltimore City Department of Transportation

The Baltimore City Rideshare Program promotes commute alternatives such as Carpooling/Vanpooling, Public Transit Services, Telework, Bicycling, and Walking. The objective is to improve the quality of life and help the Baltimore Region reduce congestion and vehicle emissions, and to protect the ozone level by reducing single occupancy vehicle traffic. The Baltimore City Rideshare Program offers employer services to assist businesses with specific employee commute needs. For individuals who are able to carpool/vanpool they provide a free ride-match service.
